Detection of Lumbar Spine Degenerative Alterations in Low Back Pain Patients with Varying Ages – A Comprehensive Study

Objective: Low back pain in the lumbar spine causes a serious impact health care systems. This study was undertaken to detect disc degenerative alterations different age group patients suffering from low-back pain.
 Methods: conducted on 199 (153 males and 46 females) with pain. Lumbar magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) 1.5T applied varying ages were studied basis of detection segments findings compared both genders.
 Results: The MRI based showed that 55.3% affected single desiccation (DS), 46.7% bulging, 42.2% bulging (DB), 44.7% at multiple levels (DML) 40.7% (DBML). Interestingly, degeneration almost same genders (p>0.05). DS level more prevalent age<40 years. DML DBML 40-60 years old genders. Importantly, found be statistically higher age≥40 as age<years (p<0.05). also but it insignificant (p>0.05).
 Conclusions: determined lower appear all levels. there no difference prevalence data concluded advances progressive occurrence spine.
